The FarmVille team has seen some pretty spooky farms popping up since the release of our Limited Edition Halloween items.
We figure it’s only fair that the creepiest Farms get the recognition they deserve.
In the spirit of Halloween, we want to see the scariest, most bone chillingly terrifying farms you can create for our first ever Halloween Decorating Contest!
From October 20th to October 27th, submit a picture of your Halloween Themed Farm to be entered into a chance to win 500 Farm Cash and 500,000 Coins!
The winning Farms will also be featured on FarmVille’s loading screen!

Trick or Treat!
Halloween is the one time of the year where it’s ok to eat candy, stay up late, and best of all dress up as...well anything!
So the FarmVille team decided we would join in on the fun.
We want to see what you’re going to be for Halloween! From October 16th to October 30th submit a picture of yourself (or with your friends) in your Halloween Costume to be entered in a chance to win some awesome prizes!
Hold up a sign with your Forum ID on it and have a close buddy take the picture. (Remember, we have to see the name so we can get you your prizes!)

FarmVille is thrilled to be able to give our players the opportunity to proudly display their heritage on their Farms.
As promised, the India, Philippine and Portugal flags have been released!
You might have also noticed that the animal collection indicator has been changed. Now, instead of a pink glow, a small arrow will appear above your animals.
Remember, we always love hearing from our users! Please make sure to let us know what you think of these new changes and additions at the Official FarmVille forums.

That's why this coming week, we'll be adding the Indian flag, as well several others, to the Market.

Halloween is almost upon us once again, and FarmVille has decided to join in on the fun. Today, we have released the first of many Limited Edition Halloween items!
Now, if that isn't to your liking we've also added a few new decorations that are sure to spruce up your farm. Topiary hedges are now available from the Market in the shapes of your favorite animals! Be the first to collect all 13 of these remarkable items and leave your friends green with envy.
You might have also noticed that there's been a few changes made to the loading screen. We've redesigned it showcase some of the more unique, user created farms.

We all know there's nothing sweeter than a reward for a job well done. So, to give you the recognition you deserve, FarmVille has added Crop Mastery!
Now you can earn Coins, Experience Points and other special rewards for all of your hard work.
When you Harvest your crops, you will be awarded with Mastery Points. These Mastery points will count towards the total Mastery of your crops.
Once you have achieved Level 3 mastery of a crop, there is a chance that any crop of that type planted in the future will be a “Premium” Crop. A Premium Crop will appear larger than other crops, and will provide you with 1 XP when it is harvested!
Make sure to check out the Market to keep track of your progress!
