TRADING POST GUIDE JUNE 18, 2011
The Trading Post is now available in FarmVille! With the new crop orders from the Trading Post you will be able to master your crops faster, and help your friends master theirs! If you are working toward mastery of a Limited Edition crop that is about to expire, the Trading Post can give you those last few points you need to get a Mastery Sign!
Placing the Trading Post
The next time you play FarmVille, you will receive the opportunity to place a Trading Post on your farm. After you see the Trading Post announcement, the Trading Post will be on your mouse pointer and you can place it on your farm by clicking in an open space.
If you don’t see this, don’t quite have enough room on your farm, or just want to wait until later, don’t worry! You can return to your normal cursor and find the Trading Post in your Gift box or the Market for placement later.
Please keep in mind that each farmer can only have one Trading Post. Be sure you are placing it on the farm you want to keep it at! It can be placed either on your Home Farm or your English Countryside.
Using the Trading Post to Order Crops
Once your Trading Post is placed, you can “Look Inside” it to see what crops your neighbors have ready to trade!
When you open your Trading Post you will see a list of all the crops your friends have recently planted. Beneath each crop for each friend you will see a button labeled “Post Order” for that crop. If the button is green the crop is available for orders! Just click it and let your friend know you want to order their crop!
Completing Orders & Rewards
When your Neighbors harvest their crops, your order will be ready to claim. To do this, just go back to the For Sale screen and click on any crops with a “Claim” button under them. You will be granted some coin and Mastery XP in that crop when you claim a completed order.
Final Thoughts
It is important to know that you can only take orders for crops once every twelve hours. You only have to plant one plot for a crop to be able to take orders for it, and you do need to harvest it to complete any orders you have taken. You also have to be level five in order to place and use a Trading Post on your farm.

The Craftshop Guide!
Making items in the new Craftshop 06/03/2011
Now that you’ve completed building your Craftshop, it’s time to start building useful items that will help you around your farm. A new feature in this Craftshop is that you do not need your neighbor’s help to create items. However, when you get help, or give help to your neighbors, you have the opportunity to claim bonus extra crafting goods, keep on reading for more details!
This is a helpful guide that will help you understand the basics of our new crafting system:
First “Look Inside” of your Craftshop:
There is a large range of items that are available for you to craft ranging from Fuel, Bricks and new items that will unlock in the near future.
To craft an item you will need the appropriate number of bushels . Bushels can be gained either through your Marketstall or harvesting the right kind of crops. If you don’t have the right type of bushels you can either ask your friends by click “Get Bushels” or you can purchase them by clicking “Buy Ingredients”.
What’s “Add Helpers”?
On the left hand side of the Menu exists a “Add Helpers” button. When you add 4 Helpers to your crafted Item you get a bonus item, and all of the people who “Helped” will also receive that item as well. NOTE: It is not necessary to “Add Helpers” to complete your crafted item, but helpers activate a bonus for involving your friends!
You can request helpers every four hours or when you finish creating an item, you can request helpers that will count towards your next created item.
Please note that if you do not have at least 4 helpers, they will not be used on your crafted item and instead will stay on the left hand menu screen until you can complete a set of 4.
Completing Item
Once you have the right number of bushels, you will be able to start crafting your item by clicking “Make It”. If you have at least 4 helpers you will see their pictures appear on the item which denotes that when the item is completed you will all get bonus crating goods. If you do not see their pictures before you click “Make it”, no bonus is applied for that item.
You will then have the option of Adding Helpers for your NEXT crafted Item.
Crafted items normally take 24 hours to complete, but you can opt to click “Finish Now” to complete the items immediately. All completed items will be moved into your Gift Box and you have the option of adding more people as Helpers!
A final note about helpers: You can have more than 4 at a time. Whenever you “Add Helpers” they will be stored for you until you have enough to apply them towards a crafted item. Try out this fun new feature with your friends!
