NEW TRICK-OR-TREAT GUIDE OCTOBER 27, 2011

The Trick-or-Treat feature has now arrived!

A Trick-or-Treat game has arrived in FarmVille! Join in on the fun and play tricks on your neighbors to receive fun Halloween treats. Checkout the leaderboard to see your ranking amongst your Friends – top Tricksters will be awarded an exclusive prize!

You can unlock the following prizes:

• Headless Horsemen Gnome
• Cobwebbed Tree
• Candy Corn Unicorn

Note: All prizes should appear in your gift box

How to get Tricks:

• Request Tricks from Friends – Clicking the blue “Ask for More” button will allow you to send the request for help directly to your friends
• Buy More – Clicking the green “Buy more” button will allow you to purchase Tricks and have them added automatically to your “Tricks to Play” total at the top of your Leaderboard (no popup or notification will display)
• Gift Tricks – Send Treats to your Friends from the Free Gifts Tab

Trickster Leaderboard:

You have the chance of being the top Trickster! Just follow you and your Neighbor’s progress on the Leaderboard. Leaderboard prizes will be awarded at the end and based on where you rank with your Neighbors.

When visiting your Neighbor’s farms, you will have the choice to either help as usual, or to perform “Tricks”:

Hint: You can trick trees, animals, orchards, animal pens

How to switch from regular Neighbor visits and Trick Mode:

• Hover-over text on the Bat during Neighbor visit
• “Click to enable regular neighbor actions” (when in “Trick” mode)
• ‘Click to enable tricks” (when in regular mode)

Trick Mode:

Regular Neighbor Visit Mode:

Any item on a Neighbor’s Farm that has already been tricked will appear ghostly, inverted color, and/or translucent.

Discovering you have been Tricked:

When you load the Farm, you can find regular Neighbor help and “Tricked” assets.

• Regular Neighbor Visits: These items will be highlighted in Blue
• Tricked Visits: These items will be highlighted in Orange

You will have the following options whether you have been helped or tricked by your Neighbor(s):

Regular Neighbor Visits:

If a Neighbor has helped you, you will have the following three options:

• Trick Back – Redirects you to your Neighbor’s farm where you can Trick them back
• Clean Up – Undo the Tricks that your Neighbor has done
• Accept Help – Accept your friendly Neighbor’s help
• Dismiss – Dismisses your Neighbor

Tricked Visits:

If a Neighbor tricked you, you will have the following three options:

• Trick Back – Redirects you to your Neighbor’s farm where you can Trick them back
• Clean Up – Undo the Tricks that your Neighbor has done
• Okay – Dismisses your Neighbor

Share with your Friends!:

You can share the following items with your Friends:

• Starting your Trick-or-Treat Basket: Tell your Friends about Trick-or-Treat
• Your Progress: Share an extra Trick with your Friends
• Leaderboard Progress: Tell your Friends you have just moved up in Leaderboard ranking
• Rewarded Prizes: Share your awarded Prize with your Friends (Neighbors can find the Prize in their Giftbox)
• Rewarded Bonus Prizes: Share your awarded Bonus Prize with your Friends (Neighbors can find the Bonus Prize in their Giftbox)

Don’t want to wait to unlock a Prize? Not to worry – you can unlock the prize immediately by clicking on the green “Buy” button.

Trickiest Farmer:

Compete with your neighbors to see who can perform the most tricks and check the leaderboard to see your ranking. On 11/7, the top tricksters will be awarded an exclusive prize!

NEW COUNT DUCKULA'S CASTLE GUIDE OCTOBER 12, 2011

Count Duckula’s Castle has now arrived!

Count Duckula has landed on your Farm and now you must help him rebuild his castle! Once you finish your castle, your friends will be able to visit and harvest from it to win ghastly prizes!

Note: If you are unable to locate the Duckula Castle, check for it in your Giftbox.


There are 6 different building stages for the Duckula Caste:

• Level 1: Spooky
• Level 2: Eerie
• Level 3: Hair-Raising
• Level 4: Frightening
• Level 5: Spine-chilling
• Level 6: Downright Dreadful

Note:You can harvest the Castle once per day to find anywhere from 1 – 4 Tickets for your Halloween Ticket Basket to unlock cool prizes! The Halloween Ticket Basket is shortly underway, but get a head start by collecting Tickets early. You can also get Tickets from visiting your Friends’ Count Duckula’s Castles.

Placing the Duckula Castle:

A Green illumination around the Duckula Castle will glow over open placement areas on your farm.

Once placed on your Farm, you will have the following four options:

• Look Inside – View your progress
• Complete Now – Complete your Duckula Castle (6 Different Levels)
• Ask for Parts – Send requests for parts to any friend once every four hours
• Move – Rearrange the Bobbing For Apples Game on your farm
• Sell – Option to sell your Count Duckula’s Castle

This is what you will see when looking inside the Duckula Castle Level 1 – Spooky:

You will need the following Building Materials to complete your Duckula Castle Level 1 – Spooky:

• 12x Haunted Brick
• 12x Goo
• 12x Knockers

There are four ways of obtaining Building Materials:

NEW BREEDING PEN EXPANSION GUIDE OCTOBER 7, 2011

Breeding Pen Expansions are here!

Breeding Pen expansions are now available and you can to get up to 2X more storage for your animals! Harvest even more animals inside each Pen and earn Mastery more quickly. You will have even better chances of finding animal Mystery Babies as you fill up your expanded Pens! Expand today and make some room for a bunch more Animals!

Breeding Pen Expansion Notice:

You will see a blue toaster image above each of your Breeding Pens, notifying you that expansions are available:

Once you click a pen with a blue toaster image, you won’t see that toaster image, again.

Requesting Help:

Once you choose to expand, share and ask your friends to help by sending you building parts.

You will need 15x of each building material required to expand a Pen once (adding +10 capacity), and then 20x of each part to expand a pen, again (adding another +10 capacity, for a total of 40):

There are four ways of obtaining Building Materials:

QUEST 3: Set the Table

• Make Wild Blueberry Pie 2 Times

You finished all the tasks, but don’t worry because there will be new Lighthouse Cove tasks every week! If you have extra time and are looking for something fun to do, you can choose to participate in the Bonus Quests. Just remember, they’re here as a fun bonus, and not as a must!
