Jade Falls is now slowly making its way out to Farmers! This new farming location includes new masterable crops, animals, and recipes. Farmers will also experience a whole new way to decorate, including many new quests that will improve your farming experience as you play along with your neighbors!
The Jade Falls Express Ticket Offer:
As the new expansion rolls out to more randomly selected farmers, some lucky players may receive an early access offer and will see this message appear when entering FarmVille:
Clicking the green Buy & Go! button will gain you early access to Jade Falls, along with a set of unique quests and some free items!
If you cancel this message and would still like to visit Jade Falls, don’t worry! You can find the Buy & Go option in the neighbor bar
or you can get access from the billboard outside of your farm. Pan out of our current farm to find it
Once landing in Jade Falls, you’ll watch a brief scene telling the story behind your new Asian-inspired farm. If preferred, you can skip this scene by clicking the green Skip button in the lower left-hand corner.
Note: This scene is only viewable once, so you will be unable to watch it again should you decide to skip it!
TRAVELING TOOLS
From the Neighbor Bar: You’ll find a picture of the FarmVille world next to your Plow tool in the tool menu.
Clicking on this globe will give you the option to travel to another farm. From here, you will be given the option to pause your Jade Falls farm, or allow it to keep growing while you visit another farm. Simply check or uncheck the box above the Travel Now! button to turn pausing on or off.
Click the green Travel Now! button to travel to another farm. It may take a few moments to travel between farms, so hang tight!
From the Farm Location Bar: Clicking the world icon pictured will present a drop-down list, allowing you to select which farm you’d like to visit.
From here, you will be given the option to pause your Jade Falls farm, or allow it to keep growing while you visit another farm. Simply check or uncheck the box above the Travel Now! button to turn pausing on or off.
Click the green Travel Now! button to travel to another farm. It may take a few moments to travel between farms, so hang tight!
Note: There may be a group of farmers that may see a different travel pop up (see below)
Traveling back to Jade Falls works the same way! Simply select Jade Falls from the Travel Tool or Farm Location Bar to journey back to your Cove.

When you first arrive to Jade Falls, your farm will look like this:

What is ZP?Its a new point system to unlock rewards and make progress to this farm. Rise your ZP level to unlock wondrous new crops, animals, buildings, trees, decorations, and expansions.

THREE TYPES OF CROPS: yes! There are three!
Land Crops & Trees: Only Asian-inspired fruits, vegetables, flowers, grains and unique fun crops are grown on aerated soil!
Water Crops: Only Asian-inspired crops that can be grown exclusively in water!
***NEW*** Terrace Crops: These types crops are the newest kinds of crops on FarmVille! Like the land and water crops, only certain crops can be planted, harvested and mastered on these elevated farm plots. The special thing about Terrace Crops is that THEY DON’T WITHER!

JADE
Jade is the equivalent of coins and Hawaiian Paradise Coconuts. You accrue jade by harvesting Jade Fall animals, crops, trees, decorations, recipes, completing quests, completing Master Lu’s tasks, unlocking fortunes and completing stages of Mountain Palace!
NOTE: You can earn Jade when you harvest Jade Falls-animals and Jade Falls-trees on other farms.
TEA GARDEN
Hey Farmers! Now you can craft and master all new Asian-inspired recipes in the Tea Garden. Make some Pho Soup. Whip up some Milk Tea, and cook some delicious Chow Mein. MMMMM Yummy!
JADE HABITAT
Once placed on your Farm, you will have the following five options:
- Look Inside – View your progress
- Ask for Parts – Send requests for Materials to any friend once every six hours
- Complete Now – Pay Farm Cash to complete one stage of your Fishing Hole
- Move – Rearrange your Fishing Hole on your farm
- Sell – Option to sell your Fishing Hole
Placing Fishing Hole: There are four ways of obtaining Parts
- Ask for part – Send requests for Parts to any friend once every four hours
- Send Gifts – Send Parts to your Friends from the Free Gifts Page (available through the Fishing Hole Menu)
- Buy Parts – Buy Parts directly from the Market or Fishing Hole's Menu (see below)
- Don't forget to click on your friends' feeds.

FORTUNES
Fortunes are like Winter Wonderland’s Ice Treasures and Hawaiian Paradises Buried and Sea Treasures. Collect various types of items that will help you unlock the prizes in each Fortune!
There are 3 types of Fortunes: Bamboo, Stone and Water Fortune. And there are 4 different sizes for each type.

MOUNTAIN PALACE
Build and complete Mountain Palace! It's no easy task but with the help of your friends, you can build the most epic mountain ever on the history of FarmVille!
What you will need:
- Stone Pillar
- Terra Cotta
- Hanging Incense
How do you get our building materials
- Ask for More – Send requests for Parts to any friend once every four hours
- Ask friends – Post a feed on your Facebook page and have your friends click on it
- Send Gifts – Send Parts to your Friends from the Free Gifts Page or in the Mountain Palace Menu
- Buy Parts – Buy Parts directly from the Market or Mountain Palace Menu
- Complete Now – Quickly complete each stage with Farm Cash
- Don't forget to click on your friends' feeds.
There are 10 stages to Mountain Palace. Each stage requires a certain amount of Stone Pillar, Terra Cotta, Hanging Incense. After completing a stage, you'll ge a pop up of your achievement. Share the news with your friends and help them my publishing your feed.
Achieve profound wisdom by following the teachings of Master Lu—and earn some fabulous Zen Points (ZP) and special items to boot!
Find Master Lu at the top of the hill, located above the rice paddies:
Your training with Master Lu consists of 10 unique challenges. Some of these challenges build off one another, but you will receive ZP and items each time you complete a challenge regardless.
A note about this feature: In between challenges, Master Lu rests for a few days. You can wake him up early by purchasing an energy drink for 10 Farm Cash.
Stage 1: Gathering Supplies
Guide a blindfolded Master Lu through a maze by posting to your feed and asking your friends for the supplies necessary for your training:
Requirements:
- Bread Crumbs (7 needed—purchase for $1 FC each)
- Water Bottle (7 needed—purchase for $1 FC each)
- Hiking Stick (10 needed—purchase for $1 FC each)
Rewards:
- When you complete this challenge, you will earn 150 ZP and a mini maze to place on your farm.
Stage 2: Get Staffed Up!
When he is not divulging pieces of ancient wisdom, Master Lu also runs a sushi bar. Here is what you need to do to help:
Requirements:
- Ask 7 of your friends to staff it, or pay $30 FC to hire staff.
Rewards:
- Once you’ve staffed Master Lu’s sushi counter with other friendly JF Farmers, you will earn 50 ZP and 7 Turbo Chargers.
Stage 3: Order Up
After Master Lu’s sushi counter is up and running with staff members, it’s time to given them something to do:
Requirements:
- Ask 8 of your friends to place orders with Master Lu for sushi, or bypass for $30 FC.
Rewards:
- Completing this task gets you 150 ZP and a stone pillar for your trouble.
Stage 4: Fill the Counter
Requirements:
- Sashimi (9 needed—purchase for $1 FC each)
- Sushi (9 needed—purchase for $1 FC each)
- Maki (10 needed—purchase for $1 FC each)
Rewards:
- When your counter is stocked, you’ll receive a whopping 300 ZP and your very own floating sushi bar to place on your farm!
Stage 5: Construction Crew
In this challenge, you will talk with Master Lu and find out that his house has been destroyed by a storm. It is up to you to help him rebuild it, and gain the wisdom that often comes with hard manual labor. However, rebuilding a house isn’t a one-person task. Here’s how to help:
Requirements:
- Recruit 7 friends as crew members, or hire a crew for $30 FC.
Rewards:
- Once you do, you will earn 75 ZP and a terra cotta figure for your Mountain Palace.
Stage 6: Floor Planning
Why just rebuild the house when you could build it
better than before? In this challenge, you will collect 8 sets of blueprints to improve Master Lu’s home:
Requirements:
- Ask your friends to send you some, or purchase all $30 FC.
Rewards:
- After they do, you will receive 225 ZP and a dart for the Mystery Dart Carnival Game to use and share!
Stage 7: RebuildingExtra hands on deck? Check. Solid plan in place? Check. Now, it’s time to start the actual rebuilding piece of the quest. Ask your friends to send the materials needed to build a strong, storm-resistant house for Master Lu. You will need:
Requirements:
- Mud Brick (12 needed—purchase for $1 FC each)
- Clay Stone (12 needed—purchase for $1 FC each)
- Hay Roof (12 needed—purchase for $1 FC each)
Rewards:
- When you have all the materials you need, you’ll receive 450 ZP and a Big Gong to place on your farm.
Stage 8: ExpeditionAfter building Master Lu a new house, it’s time for you to embark on a new adventure. This time, you’re gearing up for an epic expedition into the mountains. Since it’s not wise to venture into the wild alone, grab some friends to come along (and help you carry your stuff!)
Requirements:
- Recruit 9 friends for your mountain adventure or hire your crew for $30 FC.
Rewards:
- You will get 100 ZP and a boat hook for the water fortunes on your farm in return.
Stage 9: Planning the RouteAs Master Lu might say, there is a difference between knowing the path and walking it. In this case, you should know the path first.
Requirements:
- Ask your friends for Mountain Maps to help guide your way.
- Get 12 friends to send you a map or purchase the best maps Farm Cash can buy for $30 FC.
Rewards:
- Do this, and you will receive 300 ZP and a Pig-O token for use in the Carnival Booth!
Stage 10: Gather EquipmentIn the final chapter of your quest with Master Lu, you will find yourself right back where you started—gathering supplies again! This time, you’re looking for climbing equipment. Ask your friends to send you these items:
Requirements:
- Climbing Tent (15 needed—purchase for $1 FC each)
- Climbing Boots (15 needed—purchase for $1 FC each)
- Climbing Axes (12 needed—purchase for $1 FC each)
Rewards:
After you complete these 10 challenges with Master Lu, he goes off on his own journey of self-discovery (or perhaps on vacation—Hawaiian Paradise, maybe?) Mouse over his house for a message promising his imminent return.
